Taking care of items made with sublimation (special ink print)
Sublimation is a great way to make custom items, but it does require some special care. Here are some tips to help you get the most out of your sublimated items:
- Always use a (pressing cloth) or towel when applying heat to your sublimated items, like t-shirts or any items that are wrinkled and need an iron. A pressing cloth will keep the heat consistent and prevent any damage to the material.
- Wash your sublimated items on a warm to cold water setting in your laundry cycle.
- Avoid using bleach or other strong detergents on your sublimations.
- Hang dry your sublimated items or lay them flat on a towel.
- Do not iron directly on the sublimated area as this could cause damage. If, ironing is needed use low heat.
- Store your sublimated items in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight.
Following these tips will ensure that your sublimated items last as long as possible and look great. Thanks for choosing sublimation!
Please note: these instructions are suggestions to how to care for your items. Quality is based upon your machine, type of detergent, direction on the bottle and personal preferences for your laundry.
